Good Morning Everyone!
I am really happy with the way my NOTD turned out. I didn't really know what to expect, so I guess it wasn't too hard to exceed my expectations.
I used Orly Luxe, the gold polish out of the Orly Foil FX collection. This polish is awesome on its own, so I didn't want to do anything too fancy to it. So I decided to use one of my new Bundle Monster full nail design plates.
You know how I mentioned earlier that they are heaps skinnier then the Konad ones? Waaaay too skinny for my nails, which are quite arched, so there is a lot more nail area to cover then you would expect. The full nail designs make it almost 3/4 of the way across. So I though I would pick a design that didn't have obvious edges and go from there.
I ended up applying it like a corner design and it turned out pretty good. You thoughts?

Don't forget to enter my Konad comp for your chance to win some stampy goodness.
That's it for today. Be awesome to each other.
I Love, love, love these nails.
ReplyDeleteGold is one of my favorite colors, I think it would really good with leopard spots too!
Hey Kelli,
ReplyDeleteI was totally suprised with how much I loved these too. I am not usually a gold kind of girl, but the Foil FX collection just rocks.
Leopard spots. Love it. I am all over it.

Good...no, great job! This reminds me of the movie 'Yankee Doodle Dandy.' Weird, I know, but 'all American!'
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimberly!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen that movie, maybe it's an American thing? But I'm glad you approve anyway.

Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonna! Me too.

Beautiful. I have that polish and haven't used it yet. I did a gold today from Essence but it doesn't have the PUNCH this one does.
ReplyDeleteNice,
Susie
Hi Susie,
ReplyDeleteThe polish is amazing. As I said earlier, I am not normally a gold person because I think it washes my skin out, but I think because this gold is much cooler toned then most, it makes it much more wearable.
