I tried out a Colour Club polish for the first time. I'm pretty happy with the application and the polish dries quickly, but it smelled kind of weird. Not that I'm in the habit of sniffing nail polish, but do all Colour Club shades smell a bit...off? It's not a "hold damn, there's a dead animal around here" smell, more of a subtle "I can smell something but I don't know what it is".
Anyway, on with the show. This is Eye Popping Pink. That's pretty much all I know about it. A quick google returned no love. Being that this is a brand not found here, that I know of in Australia, I have no idea if it was a part of a collection, if it is a new shade or something old. Perhaps my international readers might have an idea?
Smell aside, I quite like the colour. At first look, it is just your average everyday pink, but it's so much more then that. It has a really strong gold shimmer to it, as you can see in the sunlit photos. I thought it was quite a playful colour and something I will hang on to. I decided to jazz up the mani a bit by adding some square stones. I like the overall effect, a little blingy but not too much.
