Today I wanted to show you the new BYS Wonderland Collection polishes. BYS is an Australian brand that produces consistently high quality products and keeps them at a reasonable price. I have only recently overcome my adversity to "cheapie" Aussie brand makeup and polishes, and am glad I have. These three polishes are awesome and are on trend with what's hot at the moment, although name a time when polishes full of glitter is not awesome and I will eat my hat (NB: please note that "hat" may be substituted for "cookie" at any time).
Through The Looking Glass
First up is Through the Looking Glass. Its a clear base with mostly blue glitter with a touch of gold glitter thrown in for good measure. This is three coats, so it might be best layers over a similar blue colour for best effect. It reminds me of the Alice character - but in a bottle. Blue dress, blond hair. Love it. Adventures of Alice
Then we have Adventures of Alice. This is a multicoloured glitter, also in a clear base. Looks to me like the primary glitter colour is silver with a bit of purple and aqua thrown in for good measure. This one looks not so awesome in the bottle, but killer on. Would look fab layered over a silver polish like Orly Shine or maybe even a holo like CG OMG. Hmm....there's something to try. Like TTLG, this is is best layered as the base is clear and you would need a fair few coats to make it completely opaque on it's own.Down The Rabbit Hole
Last, but certainly not least, we have my hands down favourite of the collection. This bad boy is Down the Rabbit Hole. This one is hard to photograph, but it is to die for! It's a translucent black base with glitter that looks like large grain holo. Holy Damn I love this polish. I need to swatch when there is some sun available, but for now, look at these pics and then multiply by awesomesauce to the power of hell yeah and that's what it's like in real life.I will be giving away all three of these polishes once my MAC Giveaway ends. I love them all! Down the Rabbit Hole is def my favorite! It has a cosmic look to it. I wish I could purchase it in the US.
