NATURAL LIGHT

Today's mani is a fun one. Its all rainy and overcast here, so I thought some fun polish and decorations was in order.

I used China Glaze Shower Together and some nail decals from BYS.

NATURAL LIGHT

Shower Together is a creme from Spring 2008 Ecollection. The first coat I applied was horribly thin and I thought from the amount of VNL that this one was gonna be a horror to get even. But it evened right out in the second coat and I applied a third for good measure. The colour is more of a teal then a turquoise. Actually I think I will call it a peacock blue/ green. Anyway, I love the colour and I've had heaps of compliments on it. The photos taken in natural light are more true to the colour. Also, the reflection you can see in in my nails is a chair, even it it looks like a bump in the polish. When I added the top coat, the finish was super glossy.

FLASH

This is the first time I've used nail decals and to be honest, the stickers were a little thick and didn't bend well when I applied a top coat. I'm not sure if this is the case with all decals or just BYS. I've got some Konad ones waiting to be used, so I'll let you know how I go.
I ended up doing 3 layers of topcoat just so the edges of the decal weren't sticking up, I was worried about them catching on something and coming off. As a result, I got a couple of bubbles in the top coat but nothing drastic. I'm pretty happy with it as a whole.

FLASH

Be awesome to each other.
