I was messing around with my box of unopened MAC shadows the other day and was trying to think of a combo that was unusual as well as wearable and this is what I came up with.
I used Dazzlelight below the brow bone for a highlight then started at the inner eye with Frost followed by Mystical Mist and then Stormwatch on the outside.
It's interesting, because seeing Mystical Mist in it's pot, one would assume that it would come out a lot darker then it did. It actually took a lot of building up of colour to even get the colour you see in the pictures. The opacity of this colour is horrendous at best and I think for the first time ever, I would have to say that I feel dudded by a MAC shadow. I don't recommend anyone get this unless they are willing to work for a loooooong time for colour payoff and even then it will still be a pale purple at best. Does anyone else have this problem with this shade? Maybe I just got a dodgy one?

Have you every been disappointed with the quality of an eyeshadow that you paid good money for? I am curious to see if maybe my expectations had been too high.
You thoughts on the look? What colours your might substitute?
