LESLIE!
I've sent her an email and am waiting for a reply, if I don't hear anything within 48hrs I will redraw.
Congrats Leslie, I'm so happy your name came out. Leslie has been a long time commenter and reader, so I am excited that she managed to nab such a great haul of goodies.
Now that that is out of the way, lets take a look at some swatches from my next set of Naked Cosmetics shadows - Rainforest.

I like this collection because it is a very neutral and wearable combination of colours. I think this will work for just about any skin tone. The shimmer and glitters to these are simply exquisite and I adore every single one. I think if I had to choose a favourite though, it would be a toss up between RF05 and RF06. RF05 is flattering to my eye colour, but RF06 is just a killer colour in general.
Onto another topic entirely, you know how I was telling you guys about the flooding here, we are about to be hit again, but this time with a category 5 cyclone. North Queensland will be hit by it tonight at about 10pm and I can tell you right now, this is going to be devastating. Our north coast is used to smaller storms and cyclones, but the weather people are reporting that this is going to be the worst cyclone in living memory, which says a lot since in 1974 on Christmas Eve, the Northern Territories capital city Darwin was hit with category 4 cyclone called Tracey.
Tracey killed 71 people, caused $837 million dollars (that's 1974 value, so I can't even imagine what it would be now) in damage, destroyed more then 70% of Darwin's buildings including 80% of all houses. It left 41,000 of the 47,000 inhabitants homeless. It caused so much damage, thing is, it is on record as one of the most compact tropical storms ever. It's winds extended only 48km(12miles) from the centre.
This one that is coming, Yasi, looks like this.
To put it into context, this is Yasi superimposed over the USA.
I'm sure you can understand why we're a little panicky. If you're a praying kind of person, now might be a good time to offer up a prayer for all those folks up north, and if you're not? Even just keeping them in your thoughts would be appreciated.
How right Billy Connolly was when he said that we don't have small problems here in Australia, when we do, we go biblical proportions.
That's it from me today.
Be awesome to each other.

OMG! That's terrifying! :( All these weather (I'm in Canada, and we've been getting blasts of blizzard and snowstorms almost biweekly now...) is bothering me... My thoughts are with you and everyone in Australia! xx
Hi Steph,
It is indeed. The world is going nuts with the extreme weather. It's getting increasingly worse each year!
Bec

I'm so excited that I won! :D
I emailed you back! :)
Congrats Leslie !
Congrats Leslie! And I'm not really the praying type, but I'm sending all my + thoughts and energy to Australia. The last thing you needed right now is this. :/ I hope it will pass quickly!
Congrats Leslie! xx
I can't believe all of the horrible things that have been happening in Australia. First the fires, then the floods and now this. I am not the praying type but I do pray that the forecasters are wrong and this storm gets downgraded before it hits. You are definitely in my thought. I anxiously await an update.
xx
Alicia
