Ginormous Christmas/ New Year Giveaway

** 3/1/11 EDIT  - New Prizes have been added**

You've all waited so patiently for this, so thank you!

I'm still waiting on bits and pieces to arrive, but this is what the prize currently consists of, but I will be adding more as they show up and if I get large numbers of entries. So pass the word around and the prize will get bigger.

First up we have a $25 gift voucher for one of my favourite places to shop for all things Konad - www.wowsocool.com
WowSoCool have very generously donated this prize, but seriously you need to check out their store if you haven't already. They have amazing decals, Konad supplies like image plates and special polishes and they top the experience off with phenomenal customer service. They are super helpful and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for these guys, and for a nice change, their international postage is really reasonable!
I also have 2 Glitter Gal polishes to give away. And the really exciting thing is that you guys get to choose which colours you want! How awesome is that? A massive thanks to Kerry and Anna from Glitter Gal Australia! I love it when Aussie brands make such an impact with the overseas audience and I'm sure you guys are well aware that Glitter Gal polishes, their holo polishes in particular, have been going nuts overseas. I have a review coming up soon of some of their holo polishes, so stay tuned for that!

There are also 3 packs of Manicare Glam Nails in assorted colours ( I say assorted because I can't remember exactly which shades off the top of my head).

3 BYS polishes of your choice from their current lines and 3 BYS nail art polishes with your choice of colours again.

Assorted nail art pretties - again assorted because I am not 100% sure what I am throwing in yet!

Lip Glaze
Stila Mini Lip Glaze in Kitten (This glaze has been colour swatched once with a brush. Please let me know if that is a problem.)

100% Natural Lip Gloss in Sugar Cookie
BareMinerals 100% Natural Lip Gloss in Sugar Cookie

Benefit Justine Case Kit

And some of my favourite Aussie Chocolates and Lollies!

**Just Added **
UNT Skincare have come to the party and have very generously donated a set of 6 polishes from their Fall/ Winter 2010 collection. You can check out their whole range of polishes right here. I also have a review of their polishes coming up very soon - and let me tell you right now that they are AMAZING!!!

By now, I'm sure you guys know the deal -

Ozotic Giveaway Winners

Yes, that's right - winners. Plural. I felt the need to add a runner up prize since I had so many entries.

The winner of the main prize is -

Jo!

Jo has already replied (only took her 7 mins to get back to me!)

And the runner up is -

Alicia from Funny Face Beauty! (It also goes to show that being the first person to enter the competition is not necessarily a bad thing. She was entry number 1.)

Alicia - I couldn't decided what to get for the runner up prize, so I'm gonna let you pick the three BYS polishes that you want and I will send them over to you. I also haven't sent you an email. Since I know you read my blog religiously, I thought it would be much more fun for you to find out this way!

I have another giveaway coming up very soon that will run over the Christmas and New Year period. I am super excited about it. I am giving away all the things that I love. I have a voucher for WowSoCool, OPI polishes, BYS Polishes, Bloom Polishes, accessories, makeup and of course, a little bit of MAC. Depending on how many entries I get will depend on how big the prize will get. I should have all of it together early next week, so I will endeavour to have it up then.

I think that's all from me today. I am going to see U2 tonight, so I am pretty excited and much too keyed up to write a post that is coherent. I'll be back tomorrow.

Be awesome to each other.

EOTD - MAC She Who Dares/ My Dark Magic Mineralise Shadow

I was trying to come up with a look that incorporated my other MAC Venomous Villains Mineralise Shadow, She Who Dares, which is a blue/ green combo. It was hard. Very hard. I kept ending up looking like a...I don't even know what it looked like. It was a mess. And not even a hot one.
What I ended up doing was using a combination of both mineralise shadows from the collection.

I started with a base of NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, applied and spread out with my finger. I find this much easier then trying to colour in my eyelid. The heat from my fingers makes the product much easier to spread around.

Then I patted on the emerald green from SWD on the whole lid area, followed by the fuchsia and the purple from MDM.

I added some Red Cherry Lashes (#20) and also some Indelible Gel Liner in Ink to the under eye, bringing the wing right out.

You thoughts on this one? I had massive issues taking pictures of this. My eyes would no cooperate. And the lashes kept popping off, which is always annoying.

The Ozotic giveaway is just about closed and I will be announcing the winner tomorrow.

That's it from me today.

Be awesome to each other.

MAC Venomous Villains Lipglass

I'm back with the second lot of my MAC Venomous Villains haul. I got four Lipglasses. Here are the swatches and pictures.

Devilishly Stylish
This is Devilishly Stylish from the Cruella range. It's a nude pinkish champagne. Very user friendly. Adds a shimmer and sparkle to your lips without being over the top. Very complimentary on any skintone I would think.

 Wicked Ways
Wicked ways is also from the Cruella range. It is a cherry red that has a subtle goldish(?) shimmer. It looks patchier in person then it looks in the picture. It's a bit too think to be a full lip colour and a bit too thick to be a gloss. It looks great over a red lipstick base or even over lip liner filled in lips. Being a strong colour, it was hard to apply so that I liked the shape. The sheerer glosses allow room for error, a red does not. Ever.

Hot House
Hot House is part of the Evil Queen collection. It's an interesting colour. It's a fuchsia-purple with a strong glitter flash/ shine. Which you can see in the swatch below. The glitter is almost holographic looking in person, but glitter is described as being an iridescent fuchsia shimmer. It is a semi opaque gloss and I am still unsure whether I love it or hate it. I believe it was originally released under the name Strange Hybrid.

Revenge is Sweet
Revenge is Sweet is an interesting one. The most intriguing of the bunch to me. It was released as part of the Maleificent collection, which is my favourite of the bunch. It looks so dark and threatening in the tube. Not a colour I could pull off. But then you swatch it and it is actually a very sheer jelly like pink with a strong fuchsia micro shimmer. Very wearable. Very glossy.

So those are the Lipglasses I picked up. Any favourites? Any I should have gotten but didn't?

That's it from me today.

Be awesome to each other.
